Foltz

Donn Foltz remains the River Bandits manager for the 2008 season. Donn has been a coach for the River Bandits for all four years of the franchise and he has been a key figure in the success of the young Bandits franchise. The Bandits made the playoffs the first two years and made a big turnaround in the middle of the 2006 season when Foltz was named the manager. The River Bandits were one of the most competitive teams in the valley league the last twenty-two games of the season.

Donn is also the head baseball coach at Central High School. Donn took a struggling program, added new energy and enthusiasm to the program and Central had its first winning season in six years. Donn was previously the head coach at Massanutten Military Academy for 2 years and an assistant at Central the previous 9 years.

Donn has a long time relationship with River Bandit’s owner, Stu Richardson, having played Junior Varsity basketball for him in high school. Stu had a big impact on Donn as a young athlete and he continued his athletic career in college as a basketball player.
